The Pakistan Super League (PSL) was founded in 2015 by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and has become a key part of Pakistan’s cricketing calendar. The league kicked off in 2016 with five franchises: Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators.
