ISLAMABAD – As per the spokesperson of the Supreme court, procedural hearing against rigging in general elections of Mr. Imran Khan PTI founder will be resumed shortly as it is included in the agendas of the hearing of the joint petition available in the petioner’s through Sher Afzal Marwat instructed his counsel to submit including Mr. Khan’s name as petitioner to the constitutional bench.
The Respondents include the Chief Election Commissioner and others; Headed by Chief Justice Of Pakistan Mr Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and 6 others constitutional benches scheduled this issue on January 7, 2016.
It is pertinent to note that the constitutional bench has also convened the hearing of review petition against the ruling of the former Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly, which was moved by Hamza Shahbaz. The date of the hearing is January 9, 2023.
The notice has also been granted by the Chief of the constitutional court for the other application n which is filed for challenging the exercise of discretional authority in the appointment of the High Court Chief Justices. The first date of the hearing is set for January 10, 2023.
Chairman and Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan Peoples Party Mr Bilawal met the seven member board and confirmed on January 8 of the Constitutional Bench that it will begin hearing on the case. The constitutional committee also scheduled the appointment of the case Missing Persons for hearing.
